Anderson I think the maxim/joke "All rook endings are drawn" should be changed to "All endgames are drawn." I could just not find a win in this game.... many endgames a pawn up and/or which the engines scored about +1 but which were drawn. There were a few won endgames but they were skillfully avoided by Eros. Nonetheless a very interesting game and with many fascinating unseen endgames. Herbert Kruse i thought for a while this could be the first game Eros could lose Thibault de Vassal ... the first game Eros could lose in the championship, Alberto could remain the only one having achieved this performance in a tournament a few years ago! Anyway, thanks guys for this show and congratulations to both (Eros for retaining the title once more, Peter for not losing any game as well, which is not an easy task :)) ECO code : A07 , the name of the chess opening is displayed below : Reti : King's Indian attack (Barcza system) Kingside Castling by player White (move 4) Kingside Castling by player Black (move 10) This chess game ended in a draw. Follow this game move after move (download) Even the laziest King flees wildly in the face of a double check ! (Savielly Tartacover) Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome. (Isaac Asimov)
