Peter W. Anderson Well defended Michael. That was my first outing with 2.Bg5. It may be my last as I don't really think I got anything from the opening and thought many lines liooked better for black even if the engines didn't think so. Hence playing towards the piece sac that happened whihc at least set you some problems and appeared to be risk free for me.
Michael Rogers The mainline is best for white against the Dutch: 1.d4 F5 2.g3 Nf6 3.Bg2....I rarely win when white fianchottos the Bishop, but I still play it for the study and practice. Good game though. Cheers Peter.
