How to Prevent Your Beagle from Escaping (2020-01-23)
Dogs are often lost wandering off and no one likes a lost dog in their backyard. With many years of experience as Maryland dog rescue experts, here we have three great tips to prevent your dogs from escaping.
1. Beagles can be prevented from escaping with the help of a leash but that should not be followed by chains since chaining a beagle can only cause stress. Beagles can even hurt themselves by twisting around the chain.
2. Fences are another way to stop dogs from going outside your yard. Make sure not only to erect a fence but also make them higher than normal. Some people opt for electric-wired fences which should not be done since it’s inhumane and quite extreme.
3. A kennel or dog house can also be quite effective in preventing beagles from escaping. Make it well-ventilated rather than fool-proof.
