Two cameras on my telephone

Hello, I would like to know why there are two cameras on my Samsung telephone, I do not find for what that is used which is located on the front frontage in the note.

Obviously one can make photographs and vidéos with the first which is behind, there is even a Flash, therefore for what is the second used?? I thought that I could see me in the telephone at the same time as I take the photograph with that one but impossible to find how to take a photograph with.
