Thanks :)

Hmmm... Question is first "why" dedicated to me ? :)

Where does this position come from ??

At first sight my 'instinct' says it's completely winning for White, of course... could be there a trap !?

Ok, let's give something (thinking) on h6, then a rook... line is quite forced, but there's an intermediate check 1. ...Qg4+ 2.Kf1 Qd1+ 3.Kg2... Bc6+! 4.Kh2 Qxh1+ (4.Kg3 Qg4+ 5.Kh2 and the 2nd rook is useless.), but check is no more possible if 1.Nxh6... gxh6 2.Rxh6 Nxh6 3.Rxh6 then... then...

Why not!?

Why dedicated to you?! Why not?! At first, now position has name - "Thibault's problem". :)

1.Nxh6 gxh6 2.Rxh6 Nxh6 3.Rxh6+ is right. Just continue further.

The position is made by me and my chess engine. :)

:-)))

this position really feels hand-made :-)

Main lines of solution

1.Nxh6 gxh6 2.Rxh6+ Nxh6 3.Rxh6+
Now two main lines (in short mode).

3.-- Qxh6 4.Bxh6 Ng4 5.Qh4 Rxb3 6.Bg7+ Kg8 9.Qh8+ Kf7 10.Nf4 Ra8 11.Qxa8 Kxg7 12.cxb3 with won endgame for white.

3.-- Kg8 4.Rxg6+ Nxg6 5.Qxf6 Be8 6.Bc4 and white wins.

I don't know as you, but I like it. :) Endgames are interesting, too.
