Proof game

ChessPosition (see diagram) A game ended with the move 5...Rh1# (that is black on his 5th move played Rh1 WITHOUT taking a white piece,mating white).

Reconstruct that game

Be warned: it is rather hard,yet the solution is really "elegant" and beautiful

I think the following works: 1.g4 h5 2.Bg2 hxg5 3.Bxb7 Rxh2 4.Nh3 Bxg7 5.0-0 Rh1# I couldn't prove that this is a unique solution, though.

Proof game

It is 2...hxg4 and 4...Bxb7 but you're right!

To prove it is the only solution you'd probably need a program
checking all possible moves from the start position
