White to play--------------------------------------------- ChessPosition (see diagram) (SPOILER: A bit stupid, but I composed this a few years back to hassle my chess friends after OTB blitz games. Since the board is never turned, you can draw out this trick when the pieces are lines up for a new game on the wrong side of the board. Say that you have an unorthodox problem to show them and just switch the Black's kNight and Bishop). Regards, Paul

Hi Paul, Hmmm, it seems to me that we already saw this one before here... Anyway it is always good to see it again for those who discover it :)

A funny solution: All pawns are ready to promote. So every player moves his knights and then promote the 2 pawns to a queen. The battle may begin :-)

In ICC I played many "real" games like this in one of the unorthodox chess games (but of course with the knight and bishop at the right place) so of course I knew the early trap, and that variation was one of my "speciality", both side making somes queens, I had developped my own "theory" :) It was funny. Is there any "Suicide" chess player? Imagine a corr Suicide game :D
