Welcome to the Chess & Go problems... see also the players blog. Heinz-Georg Lehnhoff (2007-04-15 18:21:02) Another strange problem Because of the pawn on h6 Black has beaten (g7xh6) a white piece and not the g-Pawn. But which piece? "White can castle" implies it was neither a white rook nor the white queen nor the white black-squared bishop. It remains g7xNh6. There are two white knights on the board. This means that g2 has gone to g8N. To go back this knight has only the square f6. This would be chess if the king were on e8 and the king has to move. Otherwise the king has moved earlier. Black cannot castle. 1. Nc3 Nf6 2. Nd5 Ng8 3. Ne3 Nf6 4. Nf5 Ng8 5. Nh6 gxh6 6. g4 Nf6 7. g5 Ng8 8. g6 Nf6 9. g7 Ne4 10. g8=N Bg7 11. Nf6+ Kf8 12. Nd5 Ke8 13. Rb1 Bf8 14. Nc3 Nf6 15. Nd5 Ng8 16.
