Rybka



Rybka est le programme d'échecs le plus fort au monde, créé par Vasik Rajlich, il a monopolisé la première place de tous les classements des programmes d'échecs depuis 2006 avec un ELO estimé à plus de 3100 points. Il est donc l'arme favorite de nombreux joueurs dans le jeu par correspondance et "freestyle", des formes de jeu dans lesquelles les joueurs sont accompagnés d'un ordinateur et de bases de données, ce qui les rend beaucoup plus performants.

Fin 2009 seraient apparus des clones supposés de Rybka nommés Ippolit et RobboLito, qui le surpasseraient dans certains tests, mais rien n'est prouvé, la compétition pourrait donc être relancée d'ici peu dans le monde des échecs informatiques.
