Kevin Saunderson
Kevin Maurice Saunderson est un DJ reconnu et producteur américain de musique électronique depuis 1985 environ. Il est sans conteste l'un des pionniers de la musique Techno de Detroit.
Il rencontre durent ses études Juan Atkins et Derrick May, deux autres personnalités du monde de la musique techno, avec qui il crée le label KMS Records sur lequel il produira ses premiers morceaux dont le fameux "Bounce Your Body to the Box".
Le projet Inner City, sur lequel il participe, a reçu notamment le "Best Dance Act" par DMC en 1989, mais aussi en 1992 quatre "Disques d'or" pour ses singles et encore un autre pour son album Paradise. Huit de ses morceaux ont été dans le Top 40 britannique et sept ont été "numéro 1" des diffusions en clubs.
Kevin Saunderson produit toujours des morceaux un peu plus underground sous le pseudo "E-Dancer" et sur son label KMS. L'album Heavenly est aujourd'hui l'une des principales références de la Techno de Detroit.
