input type="file" accept="image/gif"

Bonjour,

Dans un formulaire, je voudrais que mon utilisateur puisse envoyer un fichier d'un type précis (ici une image au format gif ou jpg), j'ai donc inclus le code suivant dans mon <form>

<input type="file" accept="image/gif">

Problème, mes navigateurs refusent de me limiter à ces types de fichiers au moment de choisir dans mes dossiers, c'est pourtant tout ce que j'ai trouvé sur le net.

Quelqu'un saurait pourquoi ça ne veut pas marcher comme ça ?
