graphical clients for FICGS

Hi,
I am interested in FICGS to play correspondence chess. I want to know graphical/command-line PC clients available for the same. It would be great if the client is open source and free.
Also, please let me know similarity between FICGS commands and a FICS commands. Does FICGS accept command from telnet? In other words, can I use a FICS client for playing chess game on FICGS? In that case, do I have to keep the telnet connection open till the game is over. Please note that a correpondence chess game can take months to complete.
Does FICGS save/reload a incomplete game so that the player can reconnect after some days and make his move?

Hi Sanjay,

No, it is not possible to use FICGS without connecting to the server, this is a "web server" only. There is no similarity with FICS, it doesn't accept command from telnet.

FICGS saves all games, incomplete or finished. You can disconnect any time, even during very fast games.

No, that's not possible, definitely.
