I feel I have been playing the same games forever. I think after the end of my last 4 games I will take a rest for a couple months then start playing again. Yes, correspondence chess with engines is fun, but there is a time for me when boredom creeps into the games. I am completely new to correspondence chess, though. I'm sure I will get used to it. :) Peter

The trap is to play correspondence chess only... the fun is undoubtly OTB, correspondence chess is another game but that's not "enough".

Hey Thib! Yes, I play OTB chess. As a matter of fact, I just finished a tournament with score 4/4. Performance rating: 2320. I am a Class A player at the moment. soon my uscf rating will be 1945. I also play chess online, such as on FICS or ChessCube. I just haven't quite gotten used to Corr. still. Probably it is because I play very safe, conservative moves... :)

I have decided to join another tournament... :) This time, a standard. Gives me plenty of time to play. Class A, here we come...

Iam new to corr to be honest i was more a centaur player but i have joined here and icc and i look to raise my ratings which i hope will not take long..... In two games with thibault atm which are getting intresting
