The Nokia N900 supports a lot of media formats including files with DivX, XviD, MP4, H.264, H.263, WMV as video codec and MP3, WMA, WAV, eAAC as audio codec. The N900 smartphone could be some kind of media player, when you are away from home or during your trip.

Do you want to play DVD movies on your Nokia N900? There is no DVD-Rom or port for connecting, and the DVD videos with MPEG-2 codec do not play on Nokia N900. Step 3. Click Settings to adjust the codec and resolution for Nokia N900.

The best video format supported by Nokia N900 is H.264 MP4 with 800*480 display pixels. So just click “Settings” to adjust the codec to H.264, then set the size (pixels) to 800*480, bitrate to 900kbps, framerate to 24 or 30 fbps for Nokia N900, you can type the data by yourself.

Step 4. Compress DVD to Nokia N900.

Click the convert button below the preview window, and the conversion from DVD to MP4 for Nokia N900 will start immediately.

Wait for a while until the conversion is finished. Connect your Nokia N900 to computer, transfer and mount the converted DVD movies to Nokia phone.
