How to imitate links in Javascript ?

Hi,

It is possible to imitate links like this one :

<a href="http://www.adobe.com">Adobe</a>

... with this small piece of code :

<a onclick="window.open('http://www.adobe.com')"><u>Adobe</u></a>

Many websites now use this technique to avoid losses of link juice with rel="nofollow".

Now here is my question : do you know how to make the mouse like if it was over a real link ?

How to imitate links in Javascript ?

You could try this one using css. For example:
The cursor property is supported in all major browsers.

Note: Opera 9.3 and Safari 3 do not support URL values.

Note: The value "inherit" is not supported in IE7 and earlier. IE8 requires a !DOCTYPE. IE9 supports "inherit".

Some CSS cursor attributes:
crosshair: The cursor render as a crosshair
default: The default cursor
pointer: The cursor render as a pointer
progress: The cursor indicates that the program is busy (in progress)
wait: The cursor indicates that the program is busy
inherit: Specifies that the value of the cursor property should be inherited from the parent element
