Connecter 2 pc sur internet modem usb

Bonjour à tous,
Voilà, je cherche à savoir s'il est possible de connecter deux pc sur internet avec un modem usb bas débit (oui, c'est l'ère de l'adsl et du wifi, mais pas partout).
Le problème étant déjà de trouver un modem usb compatible Windows Vista, ensuite j'aimerais savoir s'il est possible et comment faire pour partager la connexion avec un pc avec Windows XP...

Connecter 2 pc sans routeur avec un simple modem 56k ? Ca me parait juste impossible... d'autant qu'avec du bas débit ce sera juste d'une lenteur infinie.
